Friday Night Lights Community Pick Up Soccer

After many years of planning, Pacific Soccer Training will finally have a field of dreams to use for pick up soccer! Dubbed "Friday Night Lights," anyone who wants to play soccer will have a chance to do so in pick up game format from 5:30-7:00 pm this spring on the South Gilman Field in Berkeley.

The cost is $5.00 to help defray the cost of the field. For anyone already known to me, payment arrangements will be generous. The point is for everyone to get out and play. Small sided pick-up games will be organized according to soccer age and gender (if requested).

I'll repeat this part: "Friday Night Lights" field will be open to any age or ability in soccer:

This includes: personal trainers, technical or speed and conditioning coaches or goal keeper coaches who need a little space to work with a player. I will find room for you to work without having to sneak on to a field without permission and risk having to be told to leave.

Please pass this message along to your teams and to individuals you think could use another hour and a half of pick up soccer to aid their soccer development and enjoyment of the game.

For planning purposes, let me know if you are interested in coming and how you found out about "Friday Night Lights."

Yours in Soccer,

-Coach Teale
